participation...

...after prayerful consideration around our chicken
wings, the instigate team has decided upon the following
guidelines for participation in our group:

-first of all, we are called to be inviting, loving and
welcome to all, so everyone is invited at all times to
anything appropriate to their grade/age.

-in terms of mission experiences, ski retreats and other
major long-term trips...there will be specified registration
date and fee listed at least 3 months before any major
trip.  if this date is not met by the participant, they will be
scheduled to a late fee.  non-members are not subject to
this fee...but we hope our kindness will inspire you to
treat others nicely as well.

-a youth's spot on the trip will only be reserved if the
appropriate registration form, fee and all necessary
paperwork are submitted.  youth who do not turn all of
this in, will not be allowed to attend the trip.

-we will do our best to make all trips and experiences
open to as many people as possible, but in situations of
limited enrollment, youth may be subject to getting
"bumped" if they have not paid all fees and filed all
paperwork by the deadline suggested.

-youth are encouraged to attend as many of the youth
activities as possible between the registration deadline
and the date of departure on the trip.  by this, adults and
youth will be able to meet and get to know all youth
attending the trip prior to departure.

-if any registered youth is unable to attend the event,
they must notify the youth coordinator within two weeks
prior to the event departure in order to refund any
registration fees.

-if youth and/or their friends continually display a poor
behavior, they may be subject to removal from the trip
only after meeting with the youth’s parents.

-all rules under the “friends & visitors” section apply.
